The Graybacks Return
The return of the Confederate States Armed Forces!
The story you are about to read is fiction but at the same time it is a realistic look at how the Confederate States Armed Forces could very likely make a come back. We often assume the ‘South will rise again’ in the midst of a violent ‘Third Revolution’ or a resumption of the War for Confederate Independence. However the social and moral decline, which has taken place over the last half century, may likely cause a break up of society into chaos and lawlessness. Should this happen the attention of public officials will certainly be focused on maintaining civil order. Come with us now as we bare witness to the The Graybacks Return!
While it was true the highest percentage of the prison population nationwide were made up of black; which was a natural reaction to a sharp rise in drug abuse, which in turn leads to burglaries and other violent crimes. However blacks in general perceived this as racial profiling and bigotry on the part of law enforcement and the legal system. The case of John Mangler only served to infuriate an already disgruntled sector of the population. On Friday morning at 10:12 A.M. the jury handed down their decision, Guilty on two counts of First Degree Murder as well as one count of Armed Robbery.
Large crowds of anxious blacks had been gathered outside the courthouse since the earlier in the day when the court went into secession; the police were already being jeered, mocked and criticized. Black police and other officials were being called 'Black Honkeys' meaning they had sold out to 'Whitey.' It was shortly after the decision came down, that a spectator who had witnessed the entire trial, exited the door shouting 'Guilty on all charges' and with that the crowd exploded. The news soon spread across the city and around the world by satellite; an angry black population was on the edge of erupting.
In an unrelated case the rising Muslim presence in society in general and in the political arena in particular, when added to a noticeable increase in terrorism had sharpened the growing rift with the Islamists. On this same Friday morning while tensions were mounting in Los Angeles over the John Mangler Case, a roving gang firebombed a ‘Muslim Private School’ in Chicago. These stories were covered on all the major news channels, which tended to incite even more violence. The citizenry had accepted a certain level of lawlessness, but now time was running out for the society we had always known.
Monday 8 June 2009
It was beautiful day over most of the continental States save for some needed rain in northwest Florida, fogy weather over western Washington State and rain over Oklahoma, Missouri, Iowa and Kansas. The jury handed down its sentence in the John Mangler Case in Los Angeles, which was 'life without the possibility of parole.' Blacks went on a rampage of burning, looting and attacks upon anything and everything, which even hinted of being white or white owned. In Chicago the Muslims picketed, believing they would not see justice in the Muslim Private School bombing case.
In Washington there was yet another protest by Illegal Immigrants and the entire Hispanic population was in an uproar over a variety of perceived injustices. There was a mood in the air and it didn't take a team of experts to realize that politically correct multi-cultural liberalism was about to prove itself unworkable. While politicians of every persuasion attempted to placate just about everyone, save possibly the whites who were considered the cause of the problem. Still there were a few who could foresee the coming storm and began to make preparations.
While riots had not yet broken out in the South at the present time, one only need watch the local news broadcasts or drive through the Black and Hispanic areas to know tensions were rising toward the boiling point; social upheaval was in the air. This caught the attention of a retired Brigadier General named Melton 'Melt' Bozeman. The general had fought in both Iraqi wars as well as Nicaragua; he was a career Special Forces soldier who had played a major roll in honing the strategy for modern Guerilla warfare tactics, much of which was ignored.
The ole soldier had always privately disagreed with the direction in which the nation was going; believing the liberals in the legislature and in the courts had led the people down the pathway of certain destruction. While he had kept his peace throughout the years, he did manage to stay in contact with other veterans of like mind; awaiting and preparing for the day he prayed would never come. When riots broke out in the Watts sector of Los Angeles, in Chicago and in Washington DC itself, General Bozeman sent his preplanned message to his compatriots.
His message went out to 5,000 veterans who were the best of the best, the message was titled Operation Broken Saber and the text was short and simple; "the sword has been removed from its sheath." These soldiers had over the years shared tactics and strategies long ignored or rejected by every branch of the military. These soldiers were in effect a private sleeper army; men who had retired but covertly maintained full readiness, awaiting the signal to activate their command. Brigadier General Bozeman's message set in motion a series of events, which would alter history.
Saturday 4 July 2009
General Melton Bozeman had ensured that sufficient weapons, ammunition and sundries supplies were stockpiled in secure locations; these were by far the most advanced weapons available anywhere. Then there existed a particular category of weapons, which were either unknown or thought to be strictly concept weapons only. Additionally the general and his staff had been experimenting with special uniforms that were in effect stealth, whereby the wearer would not show up on heat detection radar or other such devices.
The general and his troops were ready in every respect for the events which were unfolding. When it came to Special Forces and Guerrilla fighting, these troops were the top of the line! They would come to be known as the Confederates in Gray, but covertly their true command title was considered above top secret; they were in effect a Black Brigade, meaning they were unidentified and unknown. This was an army created for a single purpose which was hard and swift justice. While Independence Day celebrations were planned in most cities and towns, some were already under fire by anarchists.
When rioting broke out in Memphis and the city was erupting in flames the Confederates in Gray under Brigadier 'Melt' closed in on the effected neighborhood. It began in the wee hours of Saturday morning around 12:30 A.M. with large roving gangs of rioters, burning, looting, raping and killing at random. The local police were caught in the cross fire between these roving gangs and out numbered, when suddenly the rioters began to run to and fro as if seeking shelter from something. An organized and very deadly counter force had obviously appeared; a few officers thought the National Guard had arrived.
The counter weapons fire continued for what seemed like a couple hours then total silence; the riot was over! It was still dark outside, the streetlights and traffic signals had been destroyed early in the riots, and so the only light came from the moon. Local police was able to patrol openly through the streets and what they saw was disturbing to say the least; seemingly everywhere they found the dead, dying and wounded rioters, many with their looted booty lying nearby. The only sign of the counter force that ever they were was a few shadowy figures fading in the distance.
A few witnesses began to come out from hiding and reported to the police; they were not the National Guard but Confederate Soldiers. The Confederate Army asks a Memphis Police Officer? "Yes, answered a frightened black lady; I hid and saw them moving up the street and through the ally down yonder, firing all along the way. They were Confederates all right; had all the marking on their uniform, including a Confederate Flag patch, though the colors were darkened. These weren't re-enactors sir; they were real fighting soldiers; knew exactly what they were doing!"
Another Police Officer who had been listening to the lady stated; "Well, they did save our hides, otherwise it would be us spread all over the streets." Madam said the first Officer; I don't know who these people were, but they seem to have saved all of us from certain death and destruction, for that we can only give thanks. None-the-less those who died here have friends and relatives and we shall see come daybreak. The ambulances and medical emergency units began moving in and teams were sent combing the neighborhood searching for any survivors as well as for the bodies.
It was not known whether or not any members of this counter force had been killed, it was assumed that had this been the case, their compatriots would have removed them. When daybreak came, city officials were at a loss to answer journalist questions as to which this counter force had been; were they came from and were they really members of a modern Confederate Army. The coming days saw the same scenario repeated in Atlanta when the headquarters of a major News Network was attacked and burned; again afterward people coming out of hiding reported seeing Confederate Soldiers.
While the riots spread from State to States fostered by news broadcasts in a copy cat scenario, States predominantly in the South were organizing their own counter Special Forces Brigades; Georgia, South Carolina, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Arkansas and onward to Texas. They were all created in the same format as was the original command under General Melton 'Melt" Bozeman's Confederates in Gray. Those who had condemned everything Confederate and Southern, including so many Southern Governors who had boastfully partook in the lowering the Confederate Flag from their Statehouses now had second thoughts.
What these Governors did not realize was that all these State Special Forces Brigades were covertly under the command of General Bozeman and collectively they now constitute a return of the Confederate States Army. This made them different then any series of unattached, unorganized militias or even the National Guard in many respects. Each State Brigade began to grow into additional brigades which in turn formed themselves into Divisions under a Major General and Corps command by a Lieutenant General, then tied together nationwide when Melton Bozeman accepted the rank of General {four stars} in command of the army.
While July turned into August, September then passed by quickly and it was finally October, the riots and social upheavals were still occurring but becoming fewer in numbers. But the mass media, the bureaucracy or the general population could no longer ignore the results. What had began as unrelated riots in Los Angeles and Chicago had spawned the rise of the Confederates in Gray, which in turn grew from State to State as the various Governors found they were desperate for a solution to the anarchy. However now the Confederate Armies were like unto an elephant sitting in one's living room; they simply could no longer be ignored and they certainly weren't going away anytime soon.
Friday 1 April 2010
The passing months since the riots began had seen things calm down but society would never be the same; the population at large had born witness to the complete failure of the liberal agenda. The anti-Confederate and anti-Southern bigotry had also proven to be destructive, so the attitude of the public began to change in favor of the Confederates. Enlistments in the United States Armed Forces fell off drastically, while membership in the rising Confederates in Gray exploded. A quiet almost unnoticed shift in loyalty caused a growing number of military bases to fall under Confederate Command.
This change did not come in the form of overt disobedience to orders or a betrayal of oaths of allegiance, but as sympathy toward this new rising counter force, which had become dominant both militarily and politically. The President and his advisors could only watch; attempting to disarm them was their only other option. But even then they'd be going against the vary force which had saved their hides, besides the people loved them. They were now in a position were the demise of the Confederates in Gray would likely lead to their own ouster from power.
While March 2010 came and went, April saw more then half of the continental States come under the command and control of the Confederates; this included their Legislatures, Governorships as well as the National Guard. Seventeen of these States now flew only the Third Confederate States National and State Flags over their Statehouses and the Counties, Parishes and Municipalities followed the example of their State. The States then began to pass into law a series of bills known as the 'Restitution and Reclamation Articles’, which had the effect of being Nullification Articles.
Those federal laws, regulations and adjudications, which interfered with the domestic governance of the States or caused them additional and unwarranted expenses, were simply declared null and void within their jurisdiction. The ability of the Federal Government to call the National Guard into federal service was also voided; save for a Declaration of War or threat of direct and imminent attack upon the nation itself. Many States outside the South adopted these same Articles, until by April 2010, the real political and military power had since been transferred into the hands of the Confederates, Major General Melton 'Melt" Bozeman.
Friday 9 April 2010
General Bozeman used his influence to create a Conference of Sovereign States so the States could coordinate their strategy and take collective action. The Conference as it became known began to call for General Elections for the purpose of recalling the Confederate States Government by reactivating the Confederate States Constitution and filling its now vacant seats. On Thursday 1 April 2010 the signed Proclamation of Independence and the 'Articles of Recognition' was formally presented to the President. The President was diplomatically directed to present himself and certain of his leaders in person, at Appomattox Courthouse.
When Friday arrived, the crowd at Appomattox Courthouse was already gathering by 8:00 A.M., the Presidential motor-cede approached and lined up along the road just outside of the McLean House where General Robert E. Lee had surrendered the Army of Northern Virginia, which was the beginning of the end for the Confederacy. Now they had returned and this time it would be the Yankees turn to drink from that very poison chalice which they had required of the Confederacy. Somehow the politically correct liberals and their crony’s of the multi-cultural left were no longer boasting.
President, the Chairman Join Chief, as well as his Secretary of State and Defense exited their vehicles and began walking toward the McLean House. They immediately found themselves moving past columns of Confederate Troops, which were positioned along the way! They had no sooner reach the building when a Confederate Presidential Helicopter landed nearby and out stepped Alexander McComb, Second President, Confederate States of America, his Secretary of War, Secretary of State and the Chief of Staff, General Melton 'Melt' Bozeman. The two sides greeted each other, exchanged pleasantries, and then walked inside the building.
General Bozeman stepped forward and began to speak; "Gentlemen, we are here for the purpose of reversing an historic travesty. Today we shall roll back the surrender of General Robert E. Lee and the Confederate Armies! The concept before us today is that a free people must learn to settle their differences, not at the bullet box, but rather at the ballot box. Therefore in compelling the return of the Southern States into ‘the Union’ during 'the late War' that very act of force rendered their return invalid. We are not here to negotiate; that was taken care long ago by acts of secession!
The sword of General Robert E. Lee was surrendered to General Ulysses S. Grant on this date in 1865; in surrendering this same sword to me and signing these documents, you are acknowledging the independence of the Confederate States of America and thereby reversing the results of what we call the War for Confederate Independence. Therefore your Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff will now surrender the sword, sign, and then your president will also sign these documents. When that has been done, your nation will be restored to its original intend, that of being a Voluntary Union of Sovereign States.
Summation
The Confederacy would come to mean many changes; among these was an end to the age of a never-ending civil rights movement who only cause was to perpetuate itself. Lawsuits and appeals would henceforth terminate at the State level and the use of the legal system to advance a political agenda would also come to a close. The entire alphabet soup of civil rights organizations from the N.A.A.C.P. and the A.C.L.U. to the S.P.L.C., all closed down; many of their members moved north to avoid facing charges amounting to civil, legal terrorism.
Welfare, Abortion, and Christianity in the Public Schools were all restored to the sole jurisdiction of the States. Gang membership and violence as well as the drug problem all ended, when the participants found themselves facing a Confederate jury with no federals coming to their rescue. The Muslims where told to clean up their own house or else the Confederacy would do it for them via deportation, and our laws would be confederate not Islamic. Thus the last remaining world super-power collapsed with little more then a whimper, rather then a major war.
The two nations would learn to live in peace side by side and share their respective borders. History, which is always written by the victor, would now be the prerogative of the Confederates. The United States would begin returning its remaining Armed Forces home from the various nations in which they had served, since the expense of retaining them was now beyond their means. The days when they were the world’s police force and nation builder was also over and she would now take her place as just another nation upon the earth, as would the Confederate States of America.
Deo Vindice!
"Where there is no vision the people perish:" {Proverbs 29:18} - there are from time to time those people who have a vision and a strategy which if follow through to conclusion, will lead to victory. Quite often however, the very people who claim the prize are unwilling to do what it takes to make it happen. Regretfully such people far too often never seem to find the way, but linger along in irrelevance to the very cause of which they claim to love so vehemently. One can only conclude either they mean well but are minus the vision or they lack the drive necessary for achieving success.
