                               General Graylon Tyson
                       Supreme Confederate Commander

History is not an absolute but cause and effect: Change the cause and you alter the effect.  What if a single decision or battle had went the other way?  Perhaps an election had turned out differently!  Thus we as individuals are equally as capable of altering the future course of history by our activism or lack thereof.  Imagine with us for a moment that certain historical events had indeed turned out otherwise.  What if General Thomas J. “Stonewall” Jackson had lived and marched at the head of his army into Gettysburg.  Suppose General Nathan Bedford Forrest had killed Yankee General William T. Sherman during the skirmishes, which followed the Battle of Shiloh, which came close to happening.

The story you are about to read concerns the rise of a single man whose presence on the world stage would alter history for all time.  A man who came from lowly and humble beginnings to stand as Supreme Commander, Confederate Forces.  Lieutenant General Graylon Tyson's achievements are the stuff of which legends are made and even the truth will likely awe generations yet unborn, let alone the exaggerations of his amazing life.  But where does one begin to tell the story of a man who began life as a backcountry bumpkin to become the leader of his people.  It was often said of him that given his intelligence, charisma, foresight and determination, he could have achieve success in any field of endeavor he may have chosen.

General Graylon Tyson seemed to be many things at the same time; politician, military tactician and technical genius, but above all he was a devout Christian and family man who found inspiration in the natural splendor of God's creation.  There are no doubt many of those involved in the Confederate Cause, which have assumed titles and ranks far above their qualifications and performance.  General Graylon Tyson unlike so many others had earned his rank not only in the Yankee Armed Forces, but also in spearheading a regiment size force of State troops, into a force with which to be reckoned.  When the general began his climb upward to the heights of notoriety, it was said that all the troops under his command could easily be seated in a modern compact car.

As a boy young Graylon spent his childhood growing into manhood, in the foothills of the Smoky Mountains of east Tennessee, where his family lived within walking distance of the national park.  He would often slip across the boundaries of the park and hike into what he called 'God's Country', while his mother worried constantly as to his whereabouts and safety.  But like the loving and loyal family member he was, little Graylon would apologize to his parents saying 'It is as if those mountains call to me momma and anyhow, I can think more clearly while standing in those high places and viewing what God has made.  I feel strengthen when I am there!'  It was under these conditions that the young boy grew into manhood, while increasing in understanding, and not completely realizing the destiny, which even then awaited him.

While roaming the Smoky Mountains during his boyhood Graylon would talk to the Almighty God as if addressing a friend.  On other occasions he would speak as if addressing a large crowd, expressing thoughts far beyond his years.  In his own humble way he was honing skills, which would serve him exceedingly well in years to come!  After graduating from his small town’s combined school, Graylon attended the Virginia Military Institute.  His chosen fields of study were history, politics and military tactics in which he greatly excelled, gaining an overall rating of first in his class.  Graylon learned about the V.M.I. of Thomas J. 'Stonewall' Jackson's time, and how it had since become the politically correct instrument of the federals.  Thus he took care to seek out material, which provided him with a clearer understanding as to the history of his people and of the Confederacy.

                           The Mississippi Soldier

After graduation from the Virginia Military Institute Graylon Tyson accepted a commission as a Lieutenant in the Mississippi National Guard where he was assigned as liaison of the State's General Staff, which was attached to the Governors Office.  The position of Military Liaison to the Governor allowed Lieutenant Tyson to add first hand experience to his studies at V.M.I., where he became acquainted with the behind the scenes maneuverings of the power elite.  His position also put him in direct communication with the federals in Washington, as well as the Pentagon.  Additionally, he was able to put into use his natural ability to influence people and events!  His growing experiences had taught him to very discretely oppose the process, whereby the federals in an emergency could federalize the State’s Armed Forces, as well as an understanding of the slow response they often made.

Now Captain Tyson found his opportunity when racial turmoil over ‘Affirmative Action’ and its perceived preferences once more became a hot button issue over jobs in Mississippi, causing a real likelihood of rioting and anarchy.  The Captain was able to gain the governors undivided attention, on this very topic, during a shared early morning walk.  Captain Tyson had recommended the formation of a regiment, which could assemble and move quickly upon the first signs of a possible civil disorder.  This team would be a kind of combination first strike in preventing riots from getting out of hand in the first place, as well a State S.W.A.T. type strike force.  These plans were gradually approved and a full regiment was placed under Tyson’s direct command, along with his promotion to major, which then brought him into contact with an ever-growing number of individuals, that would aide him in years to come.

Behind the scenes Major Gaylon Tyson had decided to form a kind of private political team of advisors, which would serve to ensure, his programs and policies were implemented across the State and indeed the nation.  Major Tyson's State S.W.A.T. team was being adopted across the expanse of the Southern States as well as the mid-west region.  The major was able to forestall the federalization of these same State's National Guard commands when the President called for troops to enforce a United Nations resolution.  His strategy in forging a Mississippi State S.W.A.T. team was so successful; other States began to request his assistance in setting up a similar team in their own State.

However Major Tyson's service did not come cheaply, for in rendering aide, he was becoming a celebrity, which afforded him the opportunity of an ever-growing audience.  Soon these S.W.A.T. teams had increased to that of a full division within each participating States, all in the name of inter-state coordination, in response to emergency plans.  Major Graylon Tyson began to move quickly up the ranks to Lieutenant Colonel, Colonel, Brigadier General, Major General, Lieutenant General and finally he penned on the four stars of a full General as the youngest in the nation.   But his rapid advance came as a result of having gained results in planning and carrying out an effective strategy, as well as achieving an overwhelming influence along the way.  While at the same time, most of the members of the power elite publicly saw him as no more then a brilliant soldier who was a 'go getter' and an over achieve.

                           The Secret Conference

The President heard of the brilliance of this young general and his tactics and found it necessary to call upon his service.  However at the request of the general the President approved a secret meeting of the two men, which was to be known only to the two of them.  The meeting took place in the general’s favorite location, the back hills of the Smoky Mountains not far from where he had grown up as a boy.  It was in these same mountains where a little boy grew into manhood and finally a true warrior.  The leader of the worlds last remaining super-power and the general who commanded the largest quick reaction strike force on earth, were now seated across the table in a small cabin over coffee. The President began by saying; 'I am quite aware General Tyson, that you have maneuvered events to where you command a force, which is known to number at the very least 300,000 troops and quite likely many more.

True these forces are technically under the command of approximately 27 different governors, but we both know the truth.  You General and your General Staff are their sole Supreme Commander!   You have even managed events in order to obtain the best possible training, using federal facilities and funding while retaining them as an independent command, every step of the way.  General you have even achieved what no one has done since the ’Civil War’ or ’War for Confederate Independence' to you Southerners prefer; that of commanding National Guard troops in more then half the States!'  The general's answer was polite and respectful but direct; you are quite correct Mr. President, all these things have I done, but may I be so bold as to ask why you have called me here?

Well general, one could argue that it is you who called me to these mountains, but nonetheless you are owed an answer.  We have a situation, which rises to the level of a crisis, but must be handled with utmost secrecy!  A terrorist cartel, which includes three separate but powerful Middle Eastern groups, have joined forces and as a result have obtained some very special nuclear weapons technology.  These weapons may be carried in hand carried brief cases no larger then a lap top computer, but none-the-less these weapons are capable of destroying an area the size of Manhattan and the surrounding area.  Such a strike could easily mean six to eight million dead and it is anyone’s guess as to the extent of the injuries and damage.

Outside of the deaths and injuries, the damage to the economy would be disastrous.  If they strike Washington it will mean Virginia is a dead zone down at least as far as Fredericksburg at a minimum.  We cannot send massive armored columns such as we did in Iraq, and all the air power we possess will never route these people from their hiding places.  Let me see if I understand your problem Mr. President; you wish me to send in a strike team and take these people out, but at the same time, you must have creditable deniability.

Mr. President I will give you all that you ask for and more, but there is a price for such services, and regretfully it will be very high indeed.  You will transfer 50 billion dollars into a black fund bearing a coded name, which only I myself will know.  You will also transfer nine of the new Stealth Black Hawks to several secret locations, which shall be made known to you at a later date; these Black Hawks shall be armed according to my instructions.  My agent will give you the specifications for 400 very special uniforms, which shall be made ready within a week’s time, with a further order numbering 3,00,000 including accoutrements, which will delivered within six months.

You will also be given weapons and ammunitions orders, which will also be delivered according to the directions made clear in the order itself, which you will receive very shortly.  These orders will be delivered to you Mr. President via my own agents, who will not reveal themselves and are unknown to our government, and who answer solely to my command.  You were able to appear at this meeting safely and alone, without the mass media's knowledge, by following my directions.  It is highly recommended that you do likewise in this case!  General, I could have you arrested and courts marshaled for having recruited, trained and equipped what amounts to a private army, plus usurping the President's power to federalize State National Guard troops.

Yes you could indeed Mr. President, but at the cost of six to eight million dead and the public would never believe your story in any case, since there are no tracks to follow.  You must surely know, that outside of the two of us, such an army has never existed.  The president paused in silence while he drank a few sips from his coffee, and then answered.  General I will give you all that you ask for, according to what we have discussed here today, but answer me this; have you in effect reconstituted the Confederate States Army?

Mr. President, you must surely have read in your own Yankee history and are aware, that we lost the war.  None-the-less in all fairness I will not disagree with your assessment of the situation!  But I would like to use General Douglas Macarthur’s famous words, WE HAVE RETURNED; which is sufficient for the sake of all those millions of lives.  In any case, had I not done so, where would the lives of those 8,000,000 New Yorkers and maybe more millions later on, now stand?

Is it not somehow poetic justice Mr. President, that our boys in gray who you people have hated and blasphemed all these years, have now arisen to where they will save your hides from annihilation by a band of international criminals?  A task which all of the forces at your disposal could not achieve, and this is what a few men in gray are called upon to deliver.  Surely you cannot be surprised at the enormous cost, which will be exacted in order for us to make good on our heretofore-unearned reputation.  Can you be so sure general, stated the President that I will not renege on these promises and come after you when all this is over?

You under estimate me Mr. President, you must certainly be aware, that I hold all the cards and the pendulum has shifted; failure to deliver will prove more costly then you and your government can afford to pay.  We have both reached an agreement, we are both men of our word, let us therefore make delivery on our respective agreements, as gentlemen!  Also Mr. President, I am quite capable of detecting any bugs as well as the presence of federal spies or satellites; we wouldn't want any of your people to be injured; I am sure you'd agree.

                       Graylon Tyson's Strike Force

It was two days later and the President was back in Washington tending to the monetary crisis caused by the enormous national debt accrued by the United States, in addition to the ever-looming terrorist threats, which had grown into nuclear threats.  Still the President's thoughts kept going back the meeting with General Graylon Tyson and he began to wonder if in delivering the secret requisition for uniforms and weapons, would the general also deliver on his word, as agreed.  Surely with all the secret service, capital police and guards all about him, the general's agents could never penetrate his umbrella of security.  When to his surprise as he sat down at his oval office desk to take down a few notes on upcoming legislation, a sealed envelope lay directly in front of him.

He ask his secretary if she or anyone else had entered the oval office in the past few moments, to which she answered that no one had entered his office in more then an hour.  Opening the envelope he discovered that on schedule the general had made good on the first part of his promise, the expected orders had arrived.  The President quickly read through the documents contained in the envelope, then put the envelope and its contents into his enter suit jacket pocket.  The following day the President made all the necessary arrangements for the black project, which General Tyson had described, knowing he would not receive the final instructions until some time closer to the actual implementation.

The President would now see if General Tyson’s Strike Force would carry out its part of the bargain, before he would go through with the production of 3,000,000 very special uniforms.  The President did not have long to wait, it was only ten days after the secret meeting in the Smoky Mountains, when the feature headline story was of the total annihilation of three large terrorist groups located in Lebanon, Pakistan, Iran and Iraq.  The black hawks were nowhere to be found and only the bodies of dead terrorists, bore witness that anything had ever taken place.  Mass media journalists were able to tour the devastation within moments of the strike, but found no trace as to who or what had wrought such death.

They found only a single individual who admitted he was among those attacked, and had no ideas as to how the enemy had penetrated their defenses.  All I know he said in Arabic, is that several of us guards heard the hacking of rapid-fire weapons, and by the time we arrived on the scene we found what you see here.
The other two guards ran away, leaving only myself as the sole witness to what had occurred, the only other item left behind appeared was a small black grave marker bearing the Confederate Battle Flag pattern; in the form of a rectangular flag stuck in the mouth of a man believed to be the terrorist leader.  There was no mention ever made of missing nuclear weapons at any of the four sites, where attacks upon the terrorists had taken place.

The President didn’t spend any sleepless nights wondering what happened to the missing nuclear weapons.  He knew if they existed, they were now in the hands of General Graylon Tyson and his none existent army.  The President smiled to himself at the thought, that the general did indeed give him creditable deniability, since he actually knew absolutely nothing outside of a secret meeting, held in a secluded place in the Smokey Mountains.

                  Graylon Tyson Supreme Commander

When word reached the mass media that the worlds three major terrorist organization were put out of business the official word the president made use of his creditable deniability; every single public official, both state and federal, claimed no knowledge as to who was responsible.  While the 27 Governors who had supported General Tyson, while quiet on the subject, experienced no difficulty whatsoever in figuring out who had pulled of the greatest military strike since the days of the Second World War.  These same governors met in a secret conference in Jackson Mississippi, and officially named General Graylon Tyson as Supreme Commander of all Joint State Forces, knowing the President would be furious.

Additionally, a resolution was passed into law and signed by each of these same governors using the power of nullification.   The terms used was described as 'The President's usurped power to federalized State Forces' have been nullified, save in the case of a 'Declared War or threat of imminent attack upon the nation.  The nullification laws also forbid the use of State Forces for treaty enforcement, international policy, as well as for aggression against any nation or people, which includes preemptive strikes.  These laws made it clear that 'State Forces' were not designed as a national reserve in waiting, but for the defense of the individual sovereign States.

The use of such force is by sovereign right, the prerogative of the individuals States themselves!  While the State Governors where each signing their respective versions of the so called 'Nullification Laws' the news hit the front page as well as prime time television and radio, as a single action by the States.  It only took a matter of days before ten more States followed suit, leaving only thirteen, which had refused.  The President threatened to have the Attorney General appeal to the Supreme Court, but was quietly warned, such an action would likely cause a constitutional crisis.

There would certainly be an open rift between the States and a possible rebirth of the Confederate States of America.  The demands by the press to interview General Graylon Tyson, Supreme Commander of Joint State Forces were overwhelming.  Reluctantly three months after the special mission against the terrorists, General Tyson held a press conference over national and worldwide news.  General Tyson began by introducing his recently reformed General Staff, which commanded the Joint State Forces, allowing each to make a brief Statement, and then the General himself came before the microphones to make an address.

Ladies and Gentlemen, Allies and friends; the formation of this highly unusual configuration of forces has became necessary in order to allow the various individual States to regain their rightful sovereignty to govern over domestic affairs within their respective borders.  The Union of States known as the United States of America was in the beginning created as a voluntary union of sovereign states, but has since became a consolidation of socialist states.  This process simply cannot be permitted to continue! Additionally during the coming period the Joint State Forces will be transformed into two levels of jurisdiction, whereby each State will maintain their own individual State Forces, additionally there shall be created the Armed Forces for the Confederate States of America.

Those who are members of the present national Armed Forces, as they now exist will be given an opportunity to switch their allegiance.  Further federal officials of whatever sort will cease from exercising authority, and report their status to the State Attorney's Office in their respective State of Residence"
It didn't take the mass media or the federals long to understand, they simply did not have the necessary force, with which to prohibit these events from taking place.  Any effort on their part to make mass arrests would be resisted by overwhelming force, which would, then likely lead to war.  There were a total of 37 States, which had joined together and had determined to call a Constitutional Convention if force was threatened.

Lacking the police or the necessary armed forces power to back them, the federal courts as well as the U.S. Marshals remained silent and took no action whatsoever.  There was no doubt whatsoever in anyone’s mind; the pendulum of power had shifted in favor of the heretofore-occupied Confederate States of America, which would now be liberated and restored.  General Graylon Tyson made speeches on several occasion but spent the greater portion of his time organizing and positioning his forces for whatever eventuality might occur.  Behind the scenes the United Nations was quietly asked to remove all ruminants of their presents from the States and territories of the Confederacy.  There would be many who remained loyal to the ‘Consolidated Union of Socialist Sates' otherwise known as the United States of America, and these were given six months to make departure arrangements.

                           Mass Yankee Migration

By Monday 23 March it was obvious to the general population, the power to hold the United States together into a single block of 50 States had slipped away, States and territories {now States} which made up the Confederacy would definitely be breaking away.  There would be no second secession, but rather what amounted to a Treaty of Surrender of its former occupation forces.  On Wednesday that same week, the Mayor of Atlanta resigned, followed by hundreds of other large city majors, as well as numbers of States Senators and Representatives.  The list of those resigning their public office soon included three Governors; thus the mass exodus was in progress.

Special highway bulletins were posted in the press, announcing bumper-to-bumper traffic being experienced as a result of the mass exodus of radical liberals and illegal immigrants.  The announcement stated; “unless it is critical for you to be traveling northbound or south into Mexico, it is strongly recommended that you reconsider, and stay off our major highways.”  Many devotees of the old Yankee Empire, including scalawags and traitors to the Confederate Cause, have decided it was a good time to leave.  Estimates have it that as many as 35 million evacuees are crowding our north, as well as south bound lanes heading toward Mexico.  This is in addition to our Confederate Patriots needing to travel for business and other reasons!

Highway 95 along the Atlantic seaboard was the most crowded!  Traffic jams having been reported clogging highways from 20 to 30 miles outwards of most major Southern cities.  The overwhelming congestion and mass confusion can particularly be seen along the northern borders of the Confederacy, known historically as the Mason-Dixon Line.  Traffic on highway's 85, 75 and 77 in the mid-south does not fair much better, with northbound lanes creeping at bumper-to-bumper speeds their entire length.  The entire
Shenandoah Parkway is said to be a sold mass of vehicles, extending all the way back to the mountains.

Reports are coming in that highway 65 between Montgomery and Birmingham is even now locked down tight the entire length.  This seems to be the result of large numbers of evacuees in those two cities.  When added to traffic coming from all over Florida, it is far more then the system was designed to handle.  We can all hope they took their lunch, drinking plenty of water and remembered to fill up before they departed!  Most of our major southern cities have been majority liberal and black since the population shift of the late 1960’s and early 1970’s, but now the evacuation is causing a shift back to a conservative and white majority.

In the western States, highway 83 and 25 are equally as crowded with traffic from Louisiana, Arkansas and west Texas, where masses of Yankees, Scalawags and Traitors to the Confederacy, are making their way north or else south into Mexico.  All these sudden attempts to evacuate our beloved homeland!  Additionally, westbound traffic out of Flagstaff and Phoenix Arizona is at an all time high, locals state they have never seen anything like it.  Like escapees from justice, they are fleeing to the left coast, as well as liberal sanctuaries in California or else Mexico, just south of the border.   Vehicular and foot traffic is backed up for 30 miles into Mexico!

The new major of Richmond Virginia came over the media with an announcement of his own, “my fellow Confederates, we haven't witnessed such a retreat as this, since the Battle of First Manassas.  General Stonewall Jackson should have lived to see this: It is a glorious mess out there on our highways, and one Jefferson Davis would have loved.  However be nice to our departing occupation forces, give them a mannerly and hardy Southern goodbye, wave and be sure not to allow any of them to be stranded or left behind.  Help them along the way toward their northern or Mexican destinations, like a good patriot of the Confederacy.  And be sure to guard our southbound or northern lanes, as the case may be, least any of them attempt to slip back into our country!

These people are obviously so determined to leave the Confederacy, scores of them have been spotted from the air, hitchhiking. Several southern States have laws against hitchhiking on the freeway; however, arrangements have made for an acceptation to be made in this case.  We Southerners haven't had so much to smile about, since the inauguration of our First President of the Confederate States!  We have just lost a number of unwelcome guests, it has become obvious to them, the gravy train is over, 'those people' will now need to work for a living and earn their own way.

                       An Independent Confederacy

The dawn of Thursday 9 April 2009 finally came, it was a beautiful Virginia Day and the stories in the local news gave everyone expectations there would be much excitement throughout the city.  However few could have imagined it would begin so early in the morning, just as most people were sitting down to breakfast and preparing for the long day ahead.  The prime story had been for some time the rise and rebirth of the Confederacy little had changed in that regard.  The television news channels were all filled with on the scene coverage throughout the Confederacy of the biggest event since the original creation of the nation.  However, the masses of the people were now witnesses to heavily Armed Troops in their midst, wearing the distinctive uniforms and insignias of the Confederate States of America.

The Confederate States Armies had returned to Richmond for the first time since our government was driven out of the city on 2 April 1865, however this time the army was much larger then anyone could have ever imagine.  Estimates were that over 1,000,000 strong were poised to march down Monument Row, making its way to the Capital Building and a grand salute to their new Commander in Chief.  How many more Confederate Troops existed elsewhere, quite naturally was considered classified information.  The date of 9 April was chosen inasmuch as it is the 144 th anniversary of General Robert E. Lee's surrender of the Army of Northern Virginia at Appomattox Courthouse, the Confederate States Senate, House of Representatives and the President would by have already been sworn into office.

The date would now have a new meaning, rather then representing defeat it would now stand for victory and later to be proclaimed by the Confederate States Government, as our officially recognized Confederate States Independence Day.  The long columns of men in gray began their march through the city at 7:00 A.M. and served as a backdrop for the swearing in of General Graylon Tyson as the 'Second President' of the Confederacy later that same morning.  After the Confederate States Senate and House of Representatives had been sworn into office at a separate location, they joined the president on the steps of the capital around 10:00 A.M. to observe the pass and review by our Confederate Armed Forces.

The shear numbers of troops were so great the parade continued well into the evening hours.  Those members of the Senate, House and the President himself naturally could not remain in position on the capital steps, but they did return from time to time.  However the premiere event took place around 1:00 P.M. as the President and the Congress returned from their lunch break.  The columns of troops halted in place and a contingent of officers and enlisted personnel broke away from the main body and marched smartly up the steps of the Capital Building.  As they approached the President and his party, the Senior Officer present saluted as several of them delivered packages to the President.

Among these packages was the sword and sheath of Robert E. Lee handed, which was handed over by a nine year old boy dressed as an Army Captain.  There was a mysterious unidentified package rumored to be the Great Seal of the Confederacy delivered by the Sergeant Major as well as the Holy Bible, upon which Jefferson Davis laid his hand for his own swearing in as the First President, Confederate States of America.  Additionally a large shipment of documents was received from several places including the U.S. National Archives.  These were believed to be the surviving ruminants of the Confederacy’s own archives.

President Graylon Tyson returned their salute and indicated his appreciation, and that he felt humbled by having been honored to have served as the successor to such a great man as Jefferson Davis.  The President stated before these assembled troops and the world; "I will do all within my power to be found worthy of the trust you have bestowed upon me.”

The War Is Now Truly Over

The new President would quickly reestablish the War Department as well as a 'Confederate States Defensive Force' worthy of our history, heritage and culture.  A force, which would prove quite capable of securing the nations defense!  Meanwhile the United States found its national Capital in Washington untenable, not-with-standing their inability to afford the immense opulence they had squandered.  Their Capital was eventually moved to Boston Massachusetts, which is considered more suitable in any case, to their extreme liberalism.  The move caused Arlington Virginia to be restored as a quiet Southern city, the District of Columbia would be returned to the jurisdiction of the State of Maryland, in due course of time.

The congress would open with 109 members for historic reasons but their numbers would be permanently fixed at 144 members.  This particular number was chosen so as to provide a permanent reminder to all who may hold office in the future, the Almighty God still rules in the affairs of men and nations, this particular number having been taken from the Holy Scriptures.  On Monday 13 April 2009 President Graylon Tyson addressed a join secession of the congress and laid out his agenda for restoring the nation to those principles for which our forefathers fought, suffered, bled and died in agony.  On 14 April the President signed his first of many pieces of emergency legislation, that of re-commissioning the Confederate States Armed Forces.

Another series of bills passed into law included what was known as the United Nations Disenfranchisement Act, which the United States was required to sign and implement, that was also included as part of the terms on the Documents of Surrender, signed at Appomattox.  Another was the reestablishment of a Confederate States currency, to be backed by gold and silver; the support would be accomplished ‘in increments’ over a 15 years period.  The United States was mandated to dissolve the Federal Reserve as well as the I.R.S. as well as to pass an amendment to their constitution recognizing the unalienable right of the sovereign States to secede under conditions spelled out in the amendment itself.

There was no need to pass legislation mandating the departure of certain categories of people, which had troubled the Confederacy during its long years of occupation.  Radical liberals of all races and persuasions, who had made a living through civil terrorism, using the political and judicial process in order to further Affirmative Action and Political, while spewing forth-sweet words of equality, backed by their own form of bigotry.  The Confederate States Armed Forces did not attempt to follow the example of the United States and create Air and Naval Forces having billion dollar pieces of Ships and Aircraft.  Rather they chose rapid deployment, guerilla warfare tactics and other such means, which would have the effect of negating the use of super carriers and the like.

But more then this, the foreign policy of the Confederacy would include ‘no sanctuary’ for terrorists and other such enemies.  Another critical piece of legislation was the reclamation act, which began the process of reclaiming and restoring many of the historic estates, such as the Lee Plantation also known as Arlington Cemetery.  It was 30 April before all was made ready for every member of the Armed Forces to participate in a formal swearing in ceremony, transferring their allegiance to the Confederate States of America.  The President proclaimed the date of 10 May as a day of national prayer of thanksgiving!

History had indeed altered its course, the long years of occupation, subjugation and cultural genocide under the rule of a hostile foreign power was now over!  How many times were our people told while our nation lay under occupation, the war is over, move on a let it go, but now it truly is over.  We are now a free and independent people and nation!  Generations yet unborn will read of these events in their history books; a generation of Confederate Citizens will now be raised which never experienced the years of occupation and millions of stories involving heroic deeds of our forefathers will now be told.  There are thousands of stories of valor and heroism to be published in books and made into movies.  Stories of a people and nation, which faced total defeat and even extinction, then made the long march back to freedom and independence.

God save the Confederacy
